This lovely vintage Oud Delft bowl features intricate cobalt blue decoration on a warm white ground, with graceful floral motifs, swags, latticework, and a delicate brown-edged rim. The footed form and detailed decoration give the piece an elegant, traditional presence.
Made in Holland in 1983 for Boscobel Restoration Inc. of Garrison, New York, the bowl bears the Oud Delft maker’s mark along with the Boscobel Restoration backstamp.
Measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter by 3 1/2 inches high, it is a substantial and versatile piece, beautiful for serving or as a decorative addition to a collection of blue-and-white pottery.
Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a very slight raised irregularity along the rim, original to manufacture and barely perceptible to the touch. Please see photos.
