Rare Gray Color Wedgwood Jasperware Bowl
Rare Gray Color Wedgwood Jasperware Bowl
A truly special find for Wedgwood collectors, this gray Jasperware bowl features a rare, discontinued color—historically difficult to produce and issued only during limited periods (1777–1820, brief trials in 1960, and a short production return in 1991).
The bowl showcases exquisite neoclassical relief work encircling the entire exterior in crisp white bas-relief figures. In lovely vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with only minor areas of natural discoloration on the reliefs consistent with age. Underside is stamped WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND.
A refined and heirloom-worthy display piece that elevates any Jasperware or neoclassical collection. (Display stand not included.)
