A complete set of twelve (12) vintage Minton salad plates in the highly collected Cockatrice Yellow pattern. Made in England, each plate measures approximately 7.75” in diameter and features the distinctive yellow border with floral detailing and bird motif that define this classic Minton design.
The plates were acquired at different times, and as is typical of early–mid 20th century Minton production, backstamps and hand-painted details vary slightly from plate to plate. Color intensity and small decorative details also show natural variation, though the set presents cohesively when displayed or used together.
This is a full set in a discontinued and sought-after pattern, suitable for both use and collection.
Condition
• Eleven plates have no chips or cracks
• One plate has a small nick on the underside foot rim (not visible when displayed or in use)
• Minor surface wear and utensil marks consistent with age
• No repairs
